DESCRIPTION
Members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network interested in expanding their skills and professional knowledge related to leadership development are invited to read, discuss, and interact with journal articles. Leadership Medical Director Richard Winters, MD, MBA, PCC and his colleagues J. Taylor Hays, MD and Michele Halyard, MD will lead the monthly discussions, pose thoughtful discussion questions, and push care network leaders to improve themselves by thinking differently. 
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is primarily intended for Physicians, Nurses, Healthcare Executives, and Allied Health Professionals.
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Review the current literature of leadership practice and development.
  • Apply practical knowledge and leadership skills in daily leadership practices.
