TITLE: Acute Dizziness - A New Approach
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this seminar, participants should be able to:
- Describe how to use bedside diagnostic maneuvers to diagnose stroke in patients with acute ongoing dizziness;
- Discuss the important limitations of brain imaging (both CT and MRI) in patients with acute dizziness;
- Explain the diagnostic (Dix-Hallpike) test and therapeutic (Epley) maneuver for treating posterior canal BPPV.
